Tarak Mehta Serial - Republic Day Special

I try to watch SAB TV's Tarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chashma regularly. It's one serial that's not just lighthearted but also spreads good values and subtly inculcates the feeling how unity leads to happiness. Tarak Mehta never misses out on any festival or topical subject. Every episode ends on a strong note teaching us something yet the serial makers manage to keep the episodes far from boredom. They have somehow managed to achieve a perfect balance.

So there was this Republic Day special episode on 27th January with Gokuldham society members keen to read their vaktavya on India and the children singing patriotic song. Can't wait to watch the next episode!

Are Armaan and Riddhima getting back together?

I was a regular follower of Dill Mill Gayye. I remember how in all my SEO, SMO presentations to my content team I used to give the example of DMG. But that was until quite a few months back. With Armaan and Rids suddenly disappearing from the Star One serial, the show has become rather uninteresting. But yesterday's episode (26th January 2010) might have increased the TRP of the show.

With Riddhima confronting her father Dr Shashank and with Armaan's secret being unveiled, DMG made a good move. I would really want to watch if Riddhima could manage to find Armaan now. And I presume Dill Mill Gayye will attract its lost audiences for at least some more time now. As I always say, let's wait and watch.

Love Ne Milla Di Typical Kahaani

How I loved the Star One serial Love Ne Milla Di Jodi and used to refer it to all I know! But off late the show makers have added these three new characters, typical of the typical kinda serials I don't like to watch. So now there is this Masi (aunt) and two cousins who are ruining the happiness of the Saxena brothers, Gujral sisters and the audiences.

Where's all the class and style of the serial disappeared? Now there's this poisoning, badla, jealousy, trying-to-divide-the-family and all. I just hope they send these characters back and make the show as atypical as it was before. C'mon there has been too much sorrow in Love Ne Milla Di Jodi all this while.
