I am quite addicted to the show Love Ne Mila Di Jodi on Star One. That’s the only Hindi serial I watch daily.
Love Ne Mila Di Jodi is not the typical love story; in fact, it’s not a love story. Love is a by-the-way while the serial revolves around a strong concept. It’s more like a movie. The casting, the dialogues, the emotions, the direction… everything is just perfect. More than anything, the story has a decent pace. For once, there’s a serial where a dupatta falling on a person’s face isn’t a concept dragged for 2 episodes followed by another couple of episodes complete with flashback of this incident.
Love Ne Mila Di Jodi (LNMDJ) is the story of three brothers - Prithvi (Gaurav Khanna), Sameer (Karan Thacker) and Varun (Dishant Arora). Their father Balraj is framed in a false murder case. Prithvi and Sameer are aware of his arrest and they try to help him out.
In the process the three brothers fall in love with the three daughters of Ila Gujral, a leading businesswoman possibly behind their father’s arrest.
Now what? Well, that’s what makes me watch this serial regularly. Expect the unexpected in every episode. These guys aren’t stretching incidents and they are doing a wonderful job! Hope the serial maintains its style.

Tarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chashma Janmashtami Special
Like other television serials, Tarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chashma is also running a Janmashtami Special episode. But it’s not very typical. These guys know how to smoothly weave an event into an episode without disturbing the essence of the serial.
So, there’s a Dahi Handi competition at Gokuldham society and any mandal can come and try to break the dahi handi. What’s more, a news channel has agreed for live coverage and a sponsorship too. The winning mandal / group will get Rs 1 lakh cash. Several mandals try to break the dahi handi but in vain. Let’s see who’ll succeed in the next episode.

Sach Ka Saamna Star Plus Reality Show Controversy
When a friend told me she was thinking about participating in the reality show Sach Ka Saamna (much before the show went on air), I advised her to view some videos of The Moment Of Truth show. Fortunately, she decided not to participate.
Why? Well you can be asked really embarrassing personal questions during the show. The ‘correct’ answer is decided on the basis of a polygraph test / lie detector. You end up revealing things from your past, some passing thought, some secret that wasn’t as big a secret as it becomes on the show. But then, our society is still not that liberal as it pretends to be.Well, those who dare to participate must be prepared to deal with it.
Nevertheless, as expected, Sach Ka Saamna is facing a controversy now with the BJP and SP MPs demanded the government to ban the show. Well, any publicity is good publicity for reality shows and hence the controversy might work great for Sach Ka Saamna, for as long as it runs.
